OTA Foundation names scholarship recipients

KINGFISHER — The Oklahoma Telephone Association or OTA Foundation recently named its 2016 scholarship recipients.

The OTA Foundation funds these scholarships and the application is made available to dependents of employees of Oklahoma-based telephone companies who are OTA members.

One of the recipients is Tillman County resident Makenzie Potts from Tipton.

The OTA Scholarship Foundation was formed in 1993 for the purpose of helping students pursue academic careers in higher education.

The scholarships are available for full-time students attending Oklahoma universities, four and two-year colleges and post-secondary career technology curriculums.
