The Tillman County Free Fair is scheduled for Thursday – Sunday, Sept. 7 – 9 at the Tillman County Fair Barn in Frederick.
Livestock may be brought to the barn beginning at 8 a.m.
Farmhand Olympics entry will be at 9:30 a.m.
All fair entries except for livestock are due between noon and 6 p.m.
A tractor driving contest is slated for 12:30 p.m.
Children’s events begin at 6 p.m. They are the ice cream contest and sunflower spitting.
From 7-9 p.m., children ages 3 to 5 years of age are set to compete for Little Mr. or Miss Tillman County Free Fair.
Weigh in of all animals begins at 7 p.m.
Judging begins 9 a.m. of all inside exhibits, as well as the livestock and dairy entries
4-H Club and FFA events will also begin at 9 a.m.
A magician is scheduled to perform at 9:30 a.m., 10:15 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Trick roper Marty Tipton is scheduled to perform at 9:30 a.m., 10:15 a.m. and 11 a.m.
The pie contest begins at 6 p.m.
From 7-8 p.m., there will be a diaper derby, stick horse races, frog and turtle races and a best-dressed pet contest.
The bucket calf contest is set for 8 p.m.
The talent show is scheduled from 7-9 p.m.
Judging of heifers, steers, dairy heifers, sheep and goats is slated for 9 a.m.
Exhibits, booths and animals are set for owner pick up at noon.
