RSV prevention options can help protect your child this season

(StatePoint) Last fall, the United States saw an early and significant spike in cases of Respiratory Syncytial Virus, or RSV, which is the leading cause of hospitalizations in all infants. Now, there are options available to help prevent RSV in babies, including a preventive antibody and an RSV vaccination during pregnancy.

Oklahoma Well Owner Network adding libraries to its mix

The Oklahoma Well Owner Network has expanded to libraries after receiving the USDA- National Institute of Food and Agriculture Rural Health and Safety Education grant. One in eight Americans get their drinking water from a private well, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, but privately owned wells are not regulated by federal or state governments.

The Board of Education of Frederick Public School District hereby announces that statutorily qualified individuals interested in running as a candidate for the #4 seat on the Frederick Board of Education may file to run as a candidate for this seat at the Tillman County Election Board between the hours of 8 a.m. and close of business on each of the following days: Monday, Dec. 4 through Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023.

To the Frederick and surrounding communities, We would like to thank everyone who has sent food, money, gifts, and most of all prayers to us during the most difficult time of our lives. Jeremy was truly one of the good ones and will never be forgotten. He left an impression on everyone he met and he was loved by so many. This community meant so much to him and he was proud to be a part of it. Tiffany, Rose, and myself will continue to live the life that he loved, and make sure to keep his legacy alive.
