Lady Bombers Softball season in full swing

Body
Fast and furious is a good way to describe the fall fast-pitch softball season. Twentyfi ve plus regular season games in forty-two days. That’s an average of over 4 games a week. The Lady Bombers are two-thirds of the way through the season and the next 19 days will be the telltale as to whether or not the post-season is on the horizon for this year’s diamond crew. District games dominate the schedule from here on out. The 3A district includes Frederick, Lone Grove, Davis, Kingston, Comanche, and Marietta. Frederick has a 6-9 record and although they are winless in district games, they still have several games against teams that have struggled in district. A very real opportunity to make up ground that would allow the Bombers to fly into the post season.
