The Frederick School Enrichment Foundation received a generous gift from the McBee Family of mineral rights, both producing and non-producing, in 10 different counties in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and New Mexico. John and Bill McBee are the sons of Howard H. McBee. They are both graduates of Frederick High School. They, along with their cousin Susanna McBee, joined in the gift in Honor of their father and uncle who was the initial Chairman of the Foundation. The income of the gifts will enhance the endowment established honoring Howard McBee at his death, which will continue to support the McBee Library at the Frederick Grade School, which was named by the Board of education in honor of Mr. McBee at the dedication of the grade school.
