Ninety people who lost money or other property through the death or dishonest conduct of their attorney will have their losses reimbursed by the Oklahoma Bar Association this year. The OBA Clients’ Security Fund will pay out more than $210,000 to those clients of deceased, suspended or former lawyers whose actions led to the losses.
Oklahoma State University researchers have partnered with other state and federal entities to improve the management of water resources across the state. “We’re trying to create a world-class water monitoring network for our state to complement what we already have, which is a world-class meteorological network with the Oklahoma Mesonet,” said Tyson Ochsner, professor of plant and soil sciences in the Ferguson College of Agriculture.

And shouldn’t I always be helping others? There seems to be a problem with all of this!
Midwestern State University recognized 1,040 honor students for the Fall 2023 semester. The President’s Honor Roll included 400 students, the Provost’s Honor Roll included 297 students and the Dean’s Honor Roll included 343 students.
Another great Christmas parade is in the books. There were over 30 entries this year, including floats, vehicles, and walking units. There was also a great crowd lining the streets to see all the entries!
