Max Lloyd Brown passed away at his home in Elgin on April 5, 2024, surrounded by family after a long battle with dementia. Max was born December 23, 1944, in Frederick, Oklahoma to Lloyd and Vera Brown.

Funeral for Mary Lee Teague, age 81, of Frederick, Oklahoma, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2024, at the First Assembly of God Church. A family and friends gathering will be Sunday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Linda Sheffield Celebration of Life for former Frederick resident, Linda Sheffield, age 64, of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at the First Baptist Church, 201 East Grand Avenue, Frederick, Oklahoma. Burial will be in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery, under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick.

Funeral service for Ava Ruth Tidwell, age 92, of Frederick, Oklahoma, will be at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, March 23, 2024, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel, 921 West Gladstone Avenue, Frederick, with Ken Waugh officiating. Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery, under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home. Mrs. Tidwell passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Magnolia Creek Skilled Nursing and Therapy, in Altus.

Neva Joyce Peterson, 88, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away on February 7, 2024. Neva Joyce Peterson (nee Hawkins) was the 3rd of 8 children of Jesse and Lucille Hawkins. She grew up on the family farm outside of Frederick, OK.

James H. Holloman Jr., affectionately known as Jim, and later Pops, was born May 27, 1946, in Wichita Falls, TX.

Memorial service for Darwin R. “Doc” Jones, age 85, of Frederick, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 15, 2024, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Frederick, Oklahoma, with Rev. Josh Boles officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home.

Bobby G. Stewart, 80, of Waterloo, IL, died February 6, 2024, in Fenton, MO.

Patricia L. (Harness) Cox, 80, passed away enveloped in love on January 17, 2024, in Washington, DC. She was born in Columbus, Mississippi on November 10, 1943, to Oda Otto Harness Jr. (Junior) and Reba L. Harness. Pat graduated from Frederick High School in 1962.
